Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, in collaboration with Government Degree College, Ramgarh, organized a One-Day Seminar dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji at the GDC Ramgarh campus, today. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, Sh. Jang S. Verman, Sh. Popinder Singh Paras (Senior Editor, Sheeraza Punjabi), Dr. Brahm Dutt HoD Dogri and Dr. Snober (HoD Punjabi) were present on the dais. ..... Sh. Jang Singh Verman delivered the keynote address, presenting an insightful and detailed lecture on the life and martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, which was highly appreciated by the audience. The programme also featured poetry presentations by the young students of GDC Ramgarh. Parvinder Kour, Malika Choudhary, Sania Choudhary, Chahat Tedyal, Harmandeep Kour, Ankul Kumar, Suhani Lahotra, Dalinder Singh, Jasmeet Singh and Prabhjot Kour recited verses dedicated to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. In addition, Dr. Snobar (HoD Punjabi) and Prof. Brahm Dutt (HoD Dogri) presented detailed papers on the life and unparalleled sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Sh. Popinder Singh Paras shared valuable insights about the activities of the Academy and spoke at length about the significance of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s sacrifice and teachings of Sikh Gurus. ......
