A National Exhibition of Paintings, organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu, in collaboration with Indian Academy of Fine Arts (IAFA), Amritsar, was inaugurated by S. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, President, Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar, on 27th December, 2025 at the Central Hall Art Gallery of Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Madan Mohan Malviya Road, Amritsar (Punjab). The art works of select 28 veteran and well known, as well, young artists of different states of India, depicting different trends & styles, techniques and mediums, have been displayed in the exhibition.... Two visual artists viz. Sh. Jang S. Verman, Jammu (J&K) and Sh. Yashwant Patel, Valabh Vidya Nagar (Gujrat) were conferred the JKCCA Life-Time Achievement Award on the artists for their significant contribution in the field of visual arts at national and international level. They were honoured through S. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, in the presence of Sh. O P Sharma, Director JKCCA and other prominent personalities.
