Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi (Ministry of Culture, Go) in collaboration with Literary Club, EVS Department & NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College (GDC) Ramgarh hosted a Seminar on 17th October, 2026, on the theme ‘The Art of Bhupinder Singh Raina’s Novel’. The event brought together eminent writers, literary scholars, faculty members and students to explore the literary contributions and artistic excellence of Bhupinder Singh Raina. The programme was held under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, Principal GDC Ramgarh as Chief Guest & Chairmanship of Sh. Khalid Hussain, eminent Punjabi writer. The programme commenced with the lightning of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Snobar, Convener Literary Club. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mssrs. Surinder Neer, Dr. Baljeet Singh Raina, Jang S Verman, Hardeep Singh Deep, Pritam Singh Anjaan, and Balwinder Singh Jammu. The proceedings of the event were conducted by Dr. Amanpreet Kour.
