Two days All India Punjabi Writers Conference hed by JAACL
Conference
on the theme of ‘Vartmaan Daur Te Punjabi Sahit’, was conducted by J&K
Academy of Art, Culture & Languages on 6th and 7th
December, 2016. The conference was inaugurated by Sh. Kavinder Gupta, Hon’ble Speaker,
Legislative Assembly J& K at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu. Prof Jagbir Singh,
eminent scholar, writer and former HoD, Punjabi Deptt., University of Delhi
presided over the function while Dr. Jaswinder Singh, prominent Punjabi writer,
intellectual and scholar presented key note address. Dr. Aziz Hajini,
Secretary, Dr. Arvnider Singh Amn, Additional Secretary and S. Popinder Singh
Paras, Editor Punjabi Sheeraza, were also present on the occasion.
Was one among observers for the conference.
