A National Painters’ Camp organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu was inaugurated by eminent Artist Kulwant Singh Gill from Amritsar at JKTDC Tourist Complex, Mansar Lake (Samba). Twelve well known and senior artists from different parts of the country are participating in this camp.... The artists who participated in the National Painters’ Camp include Shanthala Madhu (Banglore), Yashwant Patel (Valabh Vidyanagar), Swati M Jain (Bhopal), Kulwant Singh Gill and Dharmiander Sharma (Amritsar); Jang S. Verman, Ashok Mehra, Kamalnain Bhan, Shakti Kumari, Parveen Gupta and Veer Ji Sumbly (Jammu), and Tariq Saifi (Surankote);
Was at K L Saigal Hall, Writers' Club, Cultural Academy on 13.11.2024...... Balwinder Singh Jammu’s Children Poetry Book in Punjabi released by PLS-J A Punjabi poetry collection titled ‘Bal Tarang’- a children's literature, written S. Balwinder Singh Jammu was released by Punjabi Lekhak Sabha (PLS), Jammu in a function organized by PLS.J at K L Saigal Auditorium, Writers’ Club, Cultural Academy, Jammu on 13rd November, 2024. Smt. Harvinder Kour JKAS, Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages was the chief guest on this occasion whereas Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, former Additional Secretary JKAACL presided over the programme. Dr. Baljeet Singh Raina, President, PLS-J, S. Popinder Singh Paras, Editor Sheeraza Punjabi, and S. Balwinder Singh Jammu were present in the presidium. Dr. Baljeet Singh Raina, President, PLS-J extended a formal welcome to the guests, writers and the intellectuals present in the auditorium. A paper on the content and critical evaluation of the released book ‘Bal Tarang’, was presented by Dr. Balwinder Kour.
