Recited my poetry among others in Kavi Darbar- ‘Guru Nanak: Jeevan Te Virsa’ organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages at K L Saigal Hall, Jammu on 11.11.2019 to commemorate 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Well known poets from different parts of Union Territory of J&K recited their poetry dedicated to the life, contribution and principles of the great Guru, the first Guru of Sikhs. Dr. Monojit, a Punjabi satirist was the chief guest on this occasion whereas the function was presided over by Dr. Jatinder Udhampuri. Jenab Munir- ul- Islam KAS, Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary JKAACL and S. Popinder Singh Paras, Editor Sheeraza Punjabi of JKAACL shared the dais. The poets who recited their poems in the programme included Ajit Singh Mastana (Kashmir), Balwinder Singh Deep, Balwinder Singh Jammu, Bachan Bharti, Jasbir Singh Sarna, Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik, Desraj Danish, Pyasa Anjum, Gursaran Singh, Dr. Jitender Udhampuri, Gurpreet Kaur, Amarjit Kaur Neer, M S Kaamra, Dr. Monojit, Bhupinder Bhargav, Bhagat Singh Zandiq, Suraj Singh Suraj, Shamsher Singh Chouhalvi, Mohan Singh Mastana (Poonch), Surinder Neer, M P Singh, Dr. Nirmal Vinod, Amin Banhali, Amar Singh Kuka, Jang S. Verman and Sham Talib.
