Punjabi Lekhak Sabha (Regd.), Jammu and Punjabi Sahitak Sabha, R S Pura organized joint Literary Meet at Nanak Nagar, Jammu today where intellectuals, writers and poets were present to recite their creations. Renowned Urdu Ghazal writer Pritpal Singh Betab presided over the programme whereas S. Amar Sing Kuka, President, PLS and S. Harjit Singh Uppal, President Punjabi Sahitak Sabha, R S Pura shared the presidium.
Punjabi poems were recited by Ajeet Singh Mastana and Harbhajan Singh Upashak (Kashmir)and a short story by Balwinder Singh, Amarjeet Neer, Pritam Singh Anjaan, J P Singh, Jaswant Singh, S P Virdi, Sharan Star, Rajbir Singh, Rajpaul Singh Mastana, Jang S. Verman, Dr. Nirmal Vinod, Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik, Harjit Singh Uppal, Balwinder Singh Deep, Swami Antar Nirav, Amar Singh Kuka, Pritpal Singh Betab. A short story was also read out in the programme. The themes of the poems were spread over all the aspects of life in all spheres in the contemporary world around them.
An interaction was also held to critically evaluate the literary creations presented in the programme.

Recited Poetry in Multilingual Kavi Gosthi organized by Indian Peoples' Theatre Association (IPTA), Jammu at K L Saigal Hall, Jammu on 25th Mat, 2019.
A multilingual Mushiara was organized by Indian Peoples Theatre Association
(IPTA), Jammu at K L Saigal Hall, Cultural Academy Complex, Jammu today in connection
with 76th Foundation Day celebration. Poets of Hindi, Punjabi,
Pahari and Gojri recited their poetry. Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional
Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages was the chief guest
whereas Dr. Baljeet Kaur, HoD Department of Punjabi, University of Jammu was
the guest of honour on this occasion. Sh. Khalid Hussain, senior Punjabi short
story writer presided over the programme.
