Inaugurated by Sh. M Venkaiah Naidu, Vice- President of India

 at IGNCA in New Delhi on 4th February, 2018. The Minister of State for Culture (I/ C) and Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Dr. Mahesh Sharma and Sh. C S Krishna Setty, Administrator, Lalit Kala Akademi were present on the occasion. 

The International Kala Mela has been organized by the Lalit Kala Akademi in partnership with IGNCA of the Ministry of Culture.
