JKAACL releases two books for children in Jammu (March 02, 2026).... Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), Jammu, organised a grand book release function today at Writers Club, K.L. Saigal Hall, Jammu... On the occasion, Principal, Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Dr. Kulvinder Kour graced the event as the Chief Guest, while eminent writer and artist S. Was at the Auditorium of ITI, Akhnoor in connection with conduct of Multilingual Kavi Darbar organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages... in collaboration with Chanderbhaga Sanskriti Manch, Akhnoor,.. Sh. O.P. Shakir, Sh. Popinder Singh Paras, Editor Sheeraza Punjabi, Sh. Jang S. Verman, Smt. Rabia Khajuria, and Dr. Mushtaq Wani were present in the presidium. Prominent poets who recited their poetry included Suraj Singh Suraj, Jang Singh Verman, Balwinder Singh, Sh. Ratan Bhardwaj, O P Shakir, P Deepak, Naseeb Singh, Ichpal Singh, H S Upashak, Somi, Suraj Prakash Ratan, Rabia Khajuria, Sohan Lal Verma, Mohan Singh Khajuria, Komal Sharma, Dr. Rakesh Verma, Kiran Prabha, Mamta Sharma and others. The poetry included various genres of poetry like poems, Ghazals etc. on various themes related to the issues of contemporary world, patriotism, values etc. During the programme, the organization Chanderbhaga Sanskriti Manch, Akhnoor felicitated Sh.
