In connection of Hindi Day, Hindi Sahitya Mandal, Jammu organized an Inter- College Debate Competition in Hindi at Govt. Girdharai Lal Dogra Memporial Degree College, Hiranagar on 29th September, 2018. The theme of the debate was ‘Adhunik Sampark Suvidhayon Dwara Sambandhon- Rishton Mein Dooriyan Barhi Hain’. Sh. Subhash Chander Sharma, Principal Govt. G L Dogra Memorial Degree College, Hiranagar was the chief guest on this occasion. Smt. Usha Shamendra, former Assistant Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan presided over the programme. Smt. Chanchal Dogra, President, Hindi Sahitya Mandal, Smt. Suman Pal, former Director All India Radio and Jang S. Verman, senior artist and writer shared the dais. Sh. M S Kaamra, Joint Secretary and Pawan Khajuria, Literary Secretary and well known writers and members of the college staff were present on this occasion.
